If you’re a beauty and cosmetics freak like myself and if you’re bored and happen to be in Istanbul on top of it, I know the place to go. Erkul Cosmetics have their shop on Istiklal Caddesi in the Galarasaray area in Beyoglu. In here, you’ll find anything in terms of make up and generic beauty products. Nothing fancy at all, but creative is the main word here. I’m only in for their different types of great smelling shower gels as well as the fantastic supply of nail polish. Most of it comes from their own brand Golden Rose and it is a medium quality type of nail polish that is well worth its low price and offers a great alternative when you only want a fun color to switch to when you’re tired of using your all time classic ones. The shop is right next to House Cafe so either finish off with a meal or go to Erkul Cosmetics after having been there, because you’re going to need some time to spend once you’re in the shop. What’s even better is that you won’t need as much money to spend but the amounts of nail polish you’ll go home with will be even more.
